The story so far
Joseph converted his father's mixed food-crop plot to Hass avocado in 2013, betting early on export demand that has since made Murang'a one of Kenya's leading avocado counties.
His orchard is GlobalG.A.P. certified, with pre-cooling within six hours of harvest and cold-chain logistics tuned to hit the EU maturity protocol on arrival in Rotterdam.
He now supplies buyers across the Netherlands and the UK directly, using AgriBridge's shipping calculators to plan reefer bookings around his harvest windows.
